Who I Am
From the mountains in PA
Barefoot running through the woods
Scars and scratches from the brush
Antlers hanging on the walls
Diving into home plate
All the catches in outfield
One of the best feelings ever
Though I still could do better
Walking into Great Grandma’s house
The familiar old smell
And through the fields we’ve all walked through
Cows dotting the pasture
Memories, secrets, photos
All locked away
In a wooden chest I walk past everyday
Good days, bad days - Happy tears, sad tears
One day, I’ll know I’ll be forever happy
