Silly Stars
Twinkling with laughter
Gossiping with their glow
The stars shine down on me
Witnessing every chapter
Overseeing every show
The stars mingle with the sea
Yet how can I plaster
A smile before I go
When the stars stare down nervously
For even in disaster
Even as the world burned down below
The stars shone through every tree
But now loneliness is my captor
My world is about to overflow
And the stars? Why, they do nothing.
