The Parakeet

The Parakeet
Chewing a tiny green leaf ,
She purses her Ruby red lips
With a slant posture ; a curved emerald green,
Sitting on the branch in delight.
Her teeth ,
A row of magnolias blossoming ,
Line in line together.
Oh , parakeet !
An endless spring,
With a pursuing flight ,
Soaring in the air.
For she descends slowly ,
Her tiny feet ,
underneath her ,
harrowing plumage.
She gently lands ,
Surrounded by ,
pink petals of flowers.
For she looks up ,
A summer of Lillies
Left behind…..

I really like this poem!
Parakeets have a playful nature and with their high intelligence can be thought a large range of vocabulary ; with a wide variety in colours. They are beautiful and very exotic birds.
