the box
Somebody knocked over the box by the door
and all of its contents were dumped on the floor;
Without a care, every person did ignore:
and for a while that pile sat on the floor.
The clutter continued to lay
despite every sluggish passing day;
not a single soul batted an eye
at the miserable mess that lie.
Forsaken;
this poor pathetic pile still sits.
Disregarded;
it only occasionally causes fits.
Eventually forgotten it became
while humanity continued life,
ceasing to ever be the same;
Yet nobody ever thought to check what lay
inside that old, abandoned heap by the door,
forever left as a wreck to this very day.
