Growing Older
I learned from a very young age what girls like to do with boys when they get older.
I learned everything would change when I get older.
I wouldn't be able to wear strapped tops that weren't an inch thick long in the school hallways.
But I wouldn't wear them outside of school either way.
Everything changed after third grade, I met the wrong and right people.
They told me to put on a bra in the middle of a school day after I went to the restroom,
heading back to my math class.
Back in church, I don't remember you all too well.
Just that you were a girl.
You slapped my a** when we were on break time.
Because we were kids.
Then the next week they asked you and your friends not to come back.
I didn't have luck with friends, I still really don't now.
I can never get them to stay no matter how much I try.
I used to think maybe that was why...
I tried too much.
I learned things from a very young age, an age a little girl shouldn't have.
I learned everything would change as I grew older.
I just didn't think they would change this much.

Everyone has a favorite dream they want to live out. Some others try not to dream fearing it wouldn't happen because they knew before they did how the world was.
