Answer Or Riddle
There is no light blinding me; the shore is quiet near
subtle ripples, raging waves, and a few thunderous days
slow me down, losing my fragments left and right
Once an answer, now a riddle
my aching heart leads me to YOU
Hazy view hides the truth from the windows of warmth,
I might have gone lost with no way out
yet as long as your hand is in mine
we'll make a new path lined with sargassums
The currents threaten my hope
as I feel your fingers slipping through
the way their doubts affect you more than my smile at ease
makes me falter when nothing else did
