Space Blue & Tangerine no more
September 11th, 2022
like wind chimes by mossy hills
& a tangerine in an afternoon light
on a melancholy Sunday…
the Sunday after Labor Day
Space Blue & Tangerine no more

I
icy bays--
of indigo light & crimson seas--
of silver spades
as scorching auroras--
of sadness
freeze his gentle giant feet & memories--
of winter
& budding amethyst snowflakes slip from their fingers
glistening like glass bead teardrops exacerbating
smokey windows & elusive truths
hiding behind turtle scutes
lime like an inchworm
snuggling up with fountain mystic purple grass
January 25th, 2022 & June 1st, 2022
II
prismarine streams--
of paradise & laughter
playing with timeless sunset beaches
& running through fluorescent but withering fields
under silky skylines
with streamer-thin strands--
of moonlight

with Neptune's seas--
of lavender paper mache
as whip cream doves
gliding like trident's
over citadel cities
electrifying bumblebee highlights
& mango rays--
of northern light
from rosy Rome to
icicle Iceland
