Why Should I Stop
Why should I stop doing something I love
Why should I stop because some racist freak thinks they own this sport.
When I walk on the field I feel eyes on me, from every single angel
Why do they react like that when they see someone in brown skin like me
Why isn't it common to see people of color on the field of golf
Maybe because it intimidating to have people judge you just by looking at you
Why do i only get looks and no one else does…
Why is my skin color the first thing people see
Look at the talent I hold
Notice me for more than my skin color
Why does my color of skin say more than what I can do.

This piece is inspired by all of the experiences I have had on the field of golf. I have seen looks and faces every time I step on the field. But it all worth it because i'm doing something I love.
