In trouble

I've always been labeled as a troubled kid because of my parents
But I'm not them
I don't like being misunderstood
My life isn't perfect but it is far from awful
I try my best
People do not understand what it's like
To not have my parents
All because of their bad decisions
I suffer consequences because of them
I'm a good kid
I get good grades
Do chores
Get involved with good groups
But as soon as I make one mistake
I’m in so much trouble
It isn't fair
To be in trouble
