Dust
I won't eat your dust.
You may be ahead now,
but it's on.
I'll burn your dust,
I'll fly right past it.
Catching up bit by bit,
what makes you think I'm eating it?
Although we're on foot,
I'll take my car
to make sure we're on par.
I've set traps along the way
hoping you'll fall for one today.
My friends are on the sides,
hiding behind the trees,
waiting to throw rocks at your head.
But don't you think
I'm letting you win.
I'll fight 'till the bitter end;
until that line I'm starting to see
behind the horizon.
I have time, space, and pride.
I'll even take your dust and
feed it
to the person behind me.
So you won last time,
but I still haven't eaten your dust.
As you can see, I'm fine,
and I'll make you
eat mine.

I wanted to describe the insanity and irrationality of people when they are willing to do anything to achieve their goal, even when it means dishonesty and chicanery.
