I (Don't) Know
I don’t know what to write,
I don’t know what words will come off the keyboard,
I don’t know why it feels like the keyboard is just staring at me like a crazy person,
I don’t know why my brain says sometimes Oh yeah write about this stuff because it sounds good but then the next day it doesn’t care at all about writing.
You know I don’t know why but I dislike writing in a cheesy way, it makes me cringe.
Even if it is just normal writing, I get that feeling for whatever reason.
But you know what delights me at this very moment, music, the reasons I do know.
I do know who introduced me to much of the music I know and love, my dad. My mom, she plays the music so there is that.
I do know what made me love music more, a new drum set from my uncle
I do know where exactly, 43.091816, -88.339394. Also known as my old house.
I do know when it happened. When I was almost a freshman, locked in my house with nothing better to do, it hit me like a freight train, very sudden.
I do know why I love music, my brain was telling me Hey Jacob, keep doing this, you like it so why stop.
One final note, you might have noticed how all the lines are sloping down, and the reason I did it was well, because I don’t know, it seemed like an interesting thing to do.
