time enough to do what exactly? time enough for tiktok?
catch me if you can, death
i'll run,
she says, head back laughing
i'm strong, and guess what?
i'm young!
i'm too young to die
so there, death.
but what she doesn't see
is the cancer eroding her bones and mutating through her body
and she's not going to catch it in time
so she lives her life.
she does all the things she thinks she has time for
because she thinks she still has years to settle down and act serious
so she doesn't learn to play the piano
she doesn't go to church with her mom
she forgets about God
she doesn't climb everest
or go skydiving
or enjoy the people and the beauty of living
instead, she enjoys stupidity
and bad habits she can't break
and a messy room, and a bad attitude, and a phone addiction
and deathscrolling on tiktok
and she lives out her last six months
and death, it finally catches her
and she don't stand a chance

Commit your life to Christ! You may die tomorrow, and you don't want to leave Earth with the feeling that your life was a waste. Don’t take a single day for granted; nothing is promised.
