The Run Home
I always thought they were happy
And he was always so kind
Till the day I saw their love die
Up in the cabin filled with that smell
Listening to the drips outside that fell
Then all the sudden they came running
Chasing down the hallway
I feel a tornado coming
Pack your bags we got to go
Running to the car then the little one stops
Where's mom he asks
She’s not coming he drops
Here she comes running through
The whole car ride home no one spoke
I felt like I was in a choke
