Hidden Emotion
A dashing example for what a man should be
Stoic, rough, looking forward carelessly
From his neutral expression, a viewer can gauge
This guy’s cool
Solid, yet soft
Gaze prolonged and masked
Hidden behind frames of plastic CR-19 glass
What hides behind the thin line of his mouth?
Granite-colored skin
Not quite human
There's something ancient that’s hidden within
Toned with Erosion
Difficult to describe my admiration
With words other than distinct attraction
To the stone-faced tough guy
Hiding in a display
Probably too cool for me
So I stand from afar
All I do is picture a realness in his heart
It’s silly to see a statue this way
I traveled today to be bored
To stare at portraits on the wall
Of people that hold no meaning to me
Lifeless faces
He isn’t lifeless; He’s full of it
Even though he's marbled and rough
Far from smooth to the touch
And smells a bit like a mothball
I know deep down
Literally, this guy’s cool
