When I Look
When I look at her, I see perfect.
When I look at her, I see flawless.
When I look at myself, I see an issue.
When I look at myself, I see development.
When I look at anyone else, I judge them.
Do I mean to judge them?
Do I mean to judge her?
I do not know what I mean.
All I know is that what I see is what I want to be.
When I see her, I see someone who has freedom.
When I see her, I see someone who has friends.
Why do I not have freedom?
Why do I not have friends?
Why do I not know?
Was it because of my jealousy?
Was it because of my loss?
Was it just because?
I do not blame her for my pain.
I do not blame them for my shame.
I only wish for the things others have.
Which is a lot I can get if I try and stop whining.
Looking at all the people before me, I see issues, problems, mess-ups, stress, and fear.
When I look out at her, I see confidence and creativity.
I see something I want.
I see something I need.
I see something I know I can get If I try and stop whining.
But will I ever have it?
Will anyone ever know that I will have it?
Will anyone ever care if I will have it?
Will anyone ever care?
Will I even care?
When I look at her, I see perfect.
When I look at her, I see flawless.
When she looks at me, she sees…nothing.
