the faint smell of mildew
arising from your window?
The smell of christmas or halloween or even thanksgiving?
what do you smell like
A brick wall ready to be painted
by prowlers on the street
A dumpster in the back of a store
Smelling like rotten flesh
don't worry about that, it's just a crime.
Your body is just misery meat, ready to be eaten by entities
like me

My name is London! I've been writing poetry for about a year now. I've absolutely fell in love with it. When I was younger, I'd always read poetry books.
I get this feeling, if I'm out in public or at home and it honestly speaks to me. I don't sit for hours and think about poems to write, it just pops into my head and I run to grab my notebook before I forget. So many people love how spontaneous and talented I am with my poetry. I tell them that poetry doesn't have to be right or wrong or weird, and it doesn't have to sound good for others to like it, it's how you FEEL. How you see things and your perspective on things around you.
