Synesthesia
The swirl of loneliness
sounds like the rain coming down
on your window as you sit alone.
While alone, A star sounds like a loud swoosh
in the dark- similar to a car passing you at night.
Just like, A whisper looks like a tree branch
Swooshing and moving in the wind.
The color of the star,
White moves in a angelic peaceful way
across the horizon without disturbing anyone
But, If you turn hope on high,
you’ll see clouds full of beliefs
that you think will eventually come true.
Beliefs can bring back memories,
The shape of the past fits
inside a rectangle movie screen
where it shows all of the memories from the past.
