The Overthinker
One's own thoughts can be their success or their downfall
All I have are thoughts hurting my head like being stung by a swarm of bees
One only can wish for health like a mother nurturing a sick child
All I have are sounds like a jet ripping through the air in an empty field overhead
One only can wish for silence like a deserted town at night
All I have is noise like the front row of a rock concert
One only can wish for the calmness like a still lake in the early morning sun
All I have is violence like a bloody war raging on for years
One can only wish for peace like a country waving a white flag
My own thoughts seem to be my downfall
