Hope
With fear and terror
My heart was stolen
From normalcy and ordinary life
To a certain place that gave my body freezing chills
I was left alone and defenseless
I continued to hold on to hope
With a weak, delicate, and purposeful hand
A ruby red leaf, laying in the dark grey snow
Since my trust
Continues to be
The only Hope
Needed
