filling creases with butter / sculpting roundness in cacao / dust settles / in stacks
forcing hot / aqueous cinnamon behind my tongue / scalding flesh / to swallow a sneeze
numbing cold / gnawing my extremities / blue was yesterday / slate reigns today
caulking sheets / to brick building bones / peeling terracotta / takes my skin with it, too
