Sit on a Bench
As I sit on the brown, sun and water stained bench,
I look around me feeling the warm sun rays beaming on my cheeks.
I can’t only feel, but hear the breeze flowing through the leaves
And tall grass blades.
The sound of birds chirping in the tall trees.
Few cars drive by on the road behind the narrow nature trail.
There is a small neighborhood connecting to the road.
The dirt is still damp from the rain the night before.
You can feel your feet sink into the ground each step.
