Life isn’t always smooth sailing
With clear skies
And there will be a crushing low
For every soaring high
Life is messy and hectic and overwhelming
And sometimes it’ll knock you to the ground
Life isn’t some glorious journey
Life isn’t profound
It’s real and raw and authentic
Scrapes and bruises and dirt
And for every day you love it
There will be a day where it hurts
But what makes a rollercoaster thrilling
Isn’t the lack of turbulence
The twists and turn and drops are what make it an adventure
Life isn’t profound
It’s just a messy, scary, beautiful, dangerous, wonderful, gift
-Don’t Let False Expectations Ruin the Rollercoaster
