An Adult
I’m an adult, I was afraid to be an adult, until I met her. She was there on my first day at work, she made me feel like I couldnt be hurt. When we would get bored we would look up and flirt. I finally felt loved and that I belonged only to find out ive been stood up and wronged. This life has treated me poorly and makes me wonder “what's my story”. She dropped everything and went to her ex, Made me feel broken and left. She left my heart on the floor and cracked, I wonder if she will ever look back. I don't like being an adult, I wish I stayed a kid.
