A Different Love
love,
my childish heart,
loves fragile and tame,
my innocence and whims are not quite the same.
we love in a different way, yet yearn for more
of a delicate dance, unsure of what's in store.
impulsive joys, feeling away in the breeze,
yet deeper waters, holding a love's disease.
to love someone in a childish state
is to navigate,
with someone's patient debate.
love
