Agony
My wound is old
But yet it stings
It's a recurring dream
A nightmare
Unpreventable it was
I sink with every strain
The treachery and terror
I wanna scream and cry
But there's nowhere to run or hide
There's no way to escape
They tell you to remember the past
To not repeat it once
Yet I remember mine
It chooses to repeat every time
The cut always opens more
Until i’m troubled and sore
I can't take it no more
It always gets better though
I smile I laugh
Until I fall to their cruelty
Manipulated once more

This piece is about my childhood and how it repeats constantly and never stops repeating to the point I expect it now.
