Frozen Moments
The cold South Dokta air
The excitement fills the car
After 12 hours of driving
12 hours of suffering
our reward
At my Great Grandmothers apartment
As I call her Granny
The cheer of parking the car
Ironkly smashing my finger in the door
None the less walking to the door
Then the elevator
The smell of old perfume lingers in the elevator
In some way, I can taste it
Then I knock at the door
The door creeks open
As I go in for a hug
Joy fills the room
All I think is this is happiness.
So much more to come in Grannies life
As she will go to the great heaven
Also for mine as I learn about many topics
None as important as god

This bit of writing is about me and my grandmother and a moment in my life that is so vivid. I believe this is one of my best pieces of writing and I hope those who read this enjoy it as well.
