life of the forgoten
The jester within me has forgotten how to giggle
It's like there's a mountain staring down at me,
bathing me its shadow
urging me to fall asleep-
saying that only in my dreams
will I ever see how the view looks from its peak,
and though I know this will
every now and then I believe it
when it speaks.
