Change
Under the warm sun
The happy children run wild
Without a worry
Embraced by nature
Barefoot running through the grass
Everlasting fun
Days become longer
As noon carries its troubles
Yet the warmth remains
And as the sun sets
Memories dance, sweet and bright
Yet shadows lengthen
A bittersweet taste
Of an incoming darkness
With a light to come
The sun's shine returns
Its warmth a guiding beacon
Leading us forward
The sun is now east
And yet we still feel its warmth
It's touch follows us
Farewell yesterday
Memories etched in sunlight
Hello Tomorrow
