I Chose to Love You
I chose to admire you from a distance;
For from a distance your little
imperfections go unnoticed.
I chose to look at you in the darkness;
For in the darkness you shine the brightest.
I chose to love you in silence;
For in silence i can decipher your beauty.
I chose to love you in a crowd;
For in a crowd you stand out.
I chose to cherish you alone;
For when I'm alone there is no one to mock me.
I chose to hold you in my eyes;
For my gaze cause you no harm.
I chose to love you in my thoughts;
For in my thoughts you have no end.
I chose to adore you in my dreams;
For in my dreams I find no rejection.
