Conditioning
Its cold at night, bare
the minute hand slowly approaches infinity
Frozen silent to a cacophony of blithe
Only a heart beats now,
Slowly
slowly
slowly
stop
........ ……. …. .. .
And as the morning sun rises, cresting over the shadow
The window sill sees luminescent phenomena
One day the cadavers will rise again
to reclaim their souls
to reconstruct
chemical composition reconstructed to conceptual perfection
they crawl to life
Atop the highest summits
Piercing the clouds, let the light rain
Upon a body
Wrapped tightly in cotton sheet
Trapped in a cocoon
It’s cold now
