First Time
Him:
I remember the first time I saw you
And I knew, it had to be you
No one else would do
With heart in mouth
And tongue in hand
I could only smile awhile
This girl, this girl, is meant to be mine forever
Pounding heart, Nervous hands
Wide eyes look with wonder at
Angel eyes
And lightning smile
Smooth words spread
Like jam on exquisite lips
Brown hair hung low, how I long to run my fingers through them
This waiting, this waiting but then you came
My world, my heart given with no consent
And finally I realize the definition of ecstasy
Her:
I remember the first time you kissed me
A kind of kiss I have searched for all my life
Strong and earnest and always wanting more
Hands tangled in a web of hair
This boy, this boy, is meant to be mine forever
Ravenous eyes, fluttering heart
Dazed eyes soak up every detail of his being
Sun-bleached hair
Magnetic touch
Deep blue eyes I seem to be always falling into
Finally I know our time has come
The other half of me is here, come to claim my heart
I will always want this, this blurred vision when he is only here
And right now I am wrapped up in my own sweet delirium
