Final Goodbye
I used to lay awake at night imagining your face and the first time we met, it was like love at first sight. The second I looked into those beautiful hazel eyes. But then you left and with you my heart, and I missed you so much it hurt. I sat alone in the darkness pathetically wallowing in my own devastation, killing me softly with every breath I took. Until one day the rainy night ended and the sun rose in the sky the cold turned into warmth. No more tears would fall for you. Now I’m just counting the days until I began to live without you. I was broken and now I’m ready to move on, so this is my final goodbye.
