Ball of Two
The spacious ballroom was just the small room where we shared our twin bed
But the static words heard from the bedside radio were our orchestra instead
We danced with our bare feet exposed, the ragged carpet beneath
Between out toes
And the full moon that illuminated the whole room and fell upon the marble floor
Was just the slightly bright hallway light shining through a narrow bedroom door
