Whispers
As the sun whispered to
The moon to step out
Of the darkness, the clouds
patted the stars on their
Backs and said,
"Ya'lls turn,"
And the light fell asleep,
Turning the world black behind
Its eyelids
My silk, lavender gown filled
With a raven cast
As the night rushed in, alas,
I was not the least
Bit frightened, for his fingers
Were intertwined with
Mine, they fit perfectly
With mine, i had a
Sense of perfection, of peace
I smiled as the stars glistening
Off his eyes twinkled,
Surrounding my reflection,
All was
Well
