The Little Flower Me
I put a flower in your hands
to signify little me.
For now the flower is pretty,
but pretty it will not always be.
It will grow old and wrinkly,
and soon will even die,
and if you still hold it close
i hope you do not cry.
for we are taught when little that everything must die,
and so this little flower
will eventually say bye-bye.
