Stardust Dreams
The moon shines brightly, lighting the way
Just like the sun as night turns to day
All I am thinking of is you
And if you are thinking of me too
I look up at the starry night sky
And I wonder if I could fly
High, high up, and ride Hayley's comet
Gather her stardust and put it in my pocket
Take a bite of the cotton candy mist
Ride Pegasus to the sunrise, my hair all sun-kissed
I come down from a light-as-feather bliss
And return home 'cuz you were missed
I give you a hug and squeeze you real tight
And then give you the stardust I collected tonight
I tell you to save it for some cold, rainy day
So if we ever must part, we can be together that way
But I know in my heart that our love will keep
And with that, I curl up on your chest and sleep
