A WeightSeight
Her eyes light up at the drop of a dime. As, she looks at what she will now call, "mine."
Her big blue eyes twinkle a new shine.
A smile.
A smile.
A smile that absorbs even the most cold-hearted man's attention.
A giggle.
The laughter of a child so harmonious.
Free.
A laugh reflecting the weight lifted off the shoulders of a poor three year old girl. The object of her desire now right in front of her.
A dresser of her own!
Clean clothes organized in all the right drawers,
dresses hanging in the wardrobe.
Perfectly spaced clean clothes. Her clean clothes.
And my lips catch a salty drop as the girl jumps around in joy.
Excitement.
In relief.
