I Need a Father

Tears stream down my face tonight,
I look at the sky and wish:
Please help my dad survive this,
Let him see how much I care.
Help him notice I need him,
And I will never give up.
I may be furious now,
It may not seem like I care.
I'm just trying to be strong.
I don't want you to hurt me.
I need a father that cares.
