Take the time to get to know me
the real me
not my cover
take the time to go under my mask
to where nobody goes
but you would if you were my true friend
take the time to listen
but please don't get scared
I really need you right now
take the time to help me
look underneath it all
where I need help to look
take the time to fix me
my problems and worries
make me feel good
take the time to show me
I am more than I think I am
how not to put myself down
take the time to do this
because I really need you right now
