confessions
Feeling so out of place, but
You can’t tell by my face.
Depression is no longer just a session
Over coming me like the beach and midnight sea.
The tides rise high like my fears bring tears.
It’s guaranteed every time.
But
never
Does anyone see past my mask.
Looking in my eyes,
All you see is perfect disguise.
My heart is pure and my words sincere,
But there will always be fear.
I don’t try to lie,
But it’s like a must, not just because.
The problems in my life are hard to handle,
But
I’m not ready to die.
I’m making a difference, creating an entrance.
Forget the flaws and failures.
Be you, do what you want to do.
When you are great, people no longer discriminate.
I write to express myself, but
I think I’m starting to confess for myself.
