A Day at the Beach
Sitting there,
Looking out over the sea.
A nice breeze,
Clouds floating,
They look like giant marshmallows.
The sun is beating down,
As golden as can be.
The sand is as hot as ever.
The ocean water,
Going in and out all day long.
Trees rustling in the breeze.
Running down to go swim,
You can smell the salt,
From the oceans water.
You can see the little horseshoe crabs,
Among the rocks.
Fish playing tag with each other,
Among the reefs.
Colorful and pretty,
Staining your eyes with wonderful colors.
You jump in swimming,
Splashing,
Having fun,
It is time to come out.
You see little flies,
Chasing each other,
Around the seaweed.
There are piles of seaweed,
From one side of the beach to the other.
The clouds have floated away,
Leaving the sky with purple and pink.
You can still smell the ocean.
Splash!
Boom!
Boom!
The ocean is drawing you hearing,
Out to the horizon.
Everything is coming together,
Smells,
Visions,
Tastes,
Texture.
Everything!
