Up in the distance
he grabs your hand
I knew that feeling
I wish you could understand
I once had everything,
much like you do.
then one day it was gone
just like that, out of the blue
and just as quick as I was gone
you were there, it took not long
till you were the one he would hug & kiss
and he was the one I would so dearly miss
I can take that he's gone
though I'll miss his face
but the thing I can't handle
is knowing I was so easily
replaced.
