Love Speaks for This Girl
Your past comes back to haunt you,
each and every day.
And when my parents look at you,
they have nothing at all to say.
You were a bad boy,
one with the wrong friends.
I was good girl,
who always tried to defend.
I couldn't ever imagine
speaking to you,
now I find myself
falling for you!
But times have changed,
and some people's feelings have not.
You've turned your life around,
I think that's a lot.
My parents can't stand you and me,
but what's meant to be will come to be.
I feel like Romeo and Julliet,
my father keeping us apart.
But honestly I have to say,
I've loved you from the start.
I'd dream about you at night,
then wake up and scream,
Why would I dream about him?
What does this dream even mean?
Two months later,
we're still being kept apart,
by our parents and by are friends,
they've tried from the start.
If I could tell them off,
and say anything in the world,
I say nothing at all,
because love speaks for this girl.

We're only 14 and getting all this grief.
The other day I was told I couldn't see him anymore.
If it's true love,
it'll find a way.
