I'm Sorry
I know…
I fear because I see
The want
The conclusion
In your eyes
You think you can catch me
But I’m at full speed
Your fingers won’t reach me
I’m an illusion
And you’ll get hurt
I know
That you think that I am simple
An equation where your one
And I’m one
Your innocence cuts me
And I feel pain for the outcome
Because I can’t be with you
The way you want me to
Because I can’t see you
The way you need me to
And you’ll get hurt
And I’ll feel guilty
What’s the point of all this pain
I know
Because I see
The want
The conclusion in your mind
That can never be
I’ll lose you because I can’t love you
I’ll lose you because you won’t understand
I know…
Trust me…I know

oh how sincere you are, you of human emotion and purity. i have never read a poem of this perspective, the view in which the writer is the pain iducer. but your actions are just and wise.
its a beautiful poem. it cannot be measured.
you are the artist. behold, your art.
