Pollution, global warming, and the recession—
They are just politics as usual.
Girls in India are getting abused
And slavery is somehow an issue.
Scrambling to the ceiling, these girls take refuge;
The fact is these girls can’t even go to school.
Why aren’t there everyday heroes to save these girls?
Knowing they’ll come out of it with a hate for the world
Or maybe against men,
For committing such a sin—
What is sex when puberty has barely begun?
Every time I see the rising sun,
I feel such sympathy for these little ones…
