A Pure Heart

A heart full of happiness
Hiding all the pain,
But it wouldn't be long
Until the lovely song ends.
Drops of tears everywhere,
But the heart is nowhere near there.
My heart is not mad,
But soul wants to be.
My mind is in two places,
Trying to apprehend.
Being betrayed is hard enough,
But trying to be mad is another story
Love is strong,
But with a heart so pure,
It's hard to be mad at someone,
When they have done you wrong.
