Broken
If only you knew how lost I feel
Heart broken, decieved; I'm paying for the past
I cannot take your comments, nor my pain
You're not understanding how yet you harass
Deep in the night, laying here still
You're far past irrational, Adam, long friend
If only you knew how out of place I am
Maybe then you'd have one hand to lend
Incredible, you are inside, and out
Indescribeable is what you've become
Deeper and deeper, I fall into myself
Pulling myself in, into this slum
You're hardly who you used to be
Dependant upon one friend at a time
Midnight awaken to found out who-
Hidden past the smile, you're mine
Combined, our friendship is surreal
You'll break us, aware, I profess
Who am I anymore? Who are you anymore?
Be lost forever in yourself- digress
Sinking back into the state of what we were
Looking back only to say good bye to now
Accepting what has been and what will be
Without recognition, you and I allow
If only you knew, how empty this feels
Watching you drift by, and slowly slip
I cannot take your few breaths, nor mine
Back and forth, in this fake, broken friendship
