Wings
A little girl strolls through a white park
A crooked smile on her face; her eyes dark
Wings break out her back
The space around her black
A bloody used knife lye in her palm
It’s weird how she seems so calm
On her chest sits a purple hole
The little girl cut out her soul
In a smooth velvet voice
She explained her deadly choice
“Into my life bad things began to leak
So, I decided to fix it with a kind of tweak
Open your eyes, cant you see it?
Because I cut it out and freed it,
Eventhough some say I cheated,
I can finally smile and smile
That will last a long while.”
