Woe is me
I start at the base, and I climb.
I'm putting myself out there
on
a
limb.
I climbed that tree so high, and looked down and see a bird, a bird with a
broken wing. That bird calls to me from
below, a call that says to me.
I am great, I am worry-free, I am healthy.
I digest the birds sounds, and
say to absolutely no one.
I am great, I am worry-free, I am healthy.
While i'm sitting here thinking-
the branch starts to shake. Then the
pain comes, and makes me close my eyes,
and I hear a voice. "Hurry come, there
are two birds, two birds with broken
wings"
