So High
It’s amazing feeling like
You are so high
Feeling like you could never
Fall because everyone is there for you
It sucks that you could go
From being on top of the world
And then falling
Like there was a hole that you
Forgot to fix
Or like the earth split right under your
Feet
It’s weird feeling like you need to laugh,
Want to laugh but
Your brain tells you that it’s not funny
It feels even worse pretending
That you are fine and lying
To your friends that you are having a great time
But they see what’s wrong
They see you when you
Turn away and they hear the fake laughs that
Escape your throat
It’s not fair having to pushing through life
Fighting to keep everyone happy while you
Are not
It’s not fair getting mad at everyone
For the little jokes
That they make
It’s depressing, wanting to
Always be by yourself
In your room when all you really want it company
